You followed us.
We kept walking.
You came along anyway.
We tried to ask what you were doing, and without any real answers we prayed for you.
In your meek way, you just kept following us.
Even when we were invited into a neighbor's house for tea, you came along, just like you'd been invited too.
We didn't know you. The neighbors figured out you sleep on the streets and you can't find work. You didn't say much more than that. Just smiled gently and sat with us.
You said your name was something that rhymes with Truth.
And we let our neighbors chase you away so we could eat our pancakes in peace.
God have mercy.

I hate to admit it, but I turn away Truth every day when I allow the world's distractions (including Facebook) to keep me from my Savior. God have mercy.
Praying for you, Kenny.
