If God is really with us and really for us then the universe is, fundamentally, a safe place to be.
There's nothing to be afraid of here.
No wonder Jesus and the angels seem to be continually saying "do not be afraid".

what a challenging thought! I am encouraged by your posts because they continue to highlight some of my internal spiritual struggles. thanks Kenny. Scott and I are having our DC Reception this weekend - sure wish you and Nate and the others were around to help us celebrate!
Thanks for the last two entries. The first one gives me comfort to know that you are settling in ok and that you are being welcomed. I am also grateful that you are finding laughter and conversation to enjoy and time to relax. The "borrowed thought" seems so simplistic and we know it to be true, but too often the fear seems to win. Wishing you God's grace and peace. Love you, Aunt Beth
