No News is Good News

When the weather gets nice in State College, everyone gets happy. It's a wonderful thing to behold. People actually smile on the street. Of course, everyone also gets a lot more drunk, a lot more naked, and a lot less motivated to go to class. Oh college.

In other news I haven't been posting this week for unknown reasons. Maybe just because things are nice and I've been enjoying it and not spending time thinking/writing. It's sunny and warm. The Penguins have been winning like crazy (first round sweep!). I've been reading Jesus for President by Shane Claiborne. It's excellent. (How could a book about Jesus that talks about one of my favorite Fugees songs be anything but excellent?). Many thoughts reminiscent of Colossians Remixed... but with Shane's dose of style and inner-city reality. I had an interview this week, which went pretty well. Not sure what to do if I get it though, but its at least an option. And I might get to go rock climbing tomorrow.

Hard to complain.

Hi!
Glad you enjoyed Jesus For President. Thought you might want to know there's a feature length documentary in production called The Ordinary Radicals following, in part, this summer's Jesus For President book tour. In addition to Chris & Shane, it features Ron Sider, Brian McLaren, Becky Garrison and tons more Ordinary Radicals.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best wishes from Philadelphia!
