Tonight at ACF I had to say goodbye to Brad Williams, for a fairly indefinite time. He's moving to Texas, and I'm going to miss him. My first small group co-leader. Of the 'man group', no less. Some good times. It was hard to say goodbye.
And then, as I stood there singing the last worship song of the evening, I had a terrible revelation.
You see, every year of college up to now I've had to say goodbye to the graduating seniors. And it was super lame. I've cried.
And so, in typical linear fashion, my brain has been pondering what it means to say goodbye to these graduating seniors. My class. My friends. Even more lame.
What I haven't been considering is that I don't just have to say goodbye to them. I have to say goodbye to everyone.
Ouch.

i prefer "see ya around"
goodbye is soo dramatic!!
for example...
see ya this summer kenny :)
but...goodbye is not always permanent (especially if your classmates' interests run tangent to yours) and you'll be entering a whole new world of people to meet and things to do. i'm excited to see where kenny hiser ends up in a few years! :)
