I thought this was an appropriate quote for the 10 year anniversary of the death of Matthew Sheppard in Laramie Wyoming.
At church this morning we prayed that there would be healing and reconciliation and love in the face of such terrible hate. I hope I can be part of that. I hope the church can be part of that. And I repent and grieve that the church has more often been the source of that hate instead of love.
