Saying goodybe is lame.
I went back to State College this past week to hang out, finish moving out, say my goodbyes, and to get my final Japanese Encephalitis immunization. Yay for mouse brains being injected into my arm. Still it was a wonderful visit (can you visit a place where you pay rent?) including an intense round of mini-golf complete with bringing our own putters and marking our balls. I got to see Heather P. from Jville before she headed to camp and then on to France.
And this morning in church, Roberta was there on a break from being a missionary in Kosovo. Such a blessing to see her and to her Sarah's dad, a missionary in Chile preach about his mission work. Definitely an inspiration in light of my own short mission trip that's coming in only two weeks! As it gets closer I get more excited, more nervous, and a little more humbled that it's actually real.
In other news, Justin McRoberts had some interesting thoughts on Dr. James Dobson's remarks about the coming presidential election that might be worth a read.
